*Catch and Release or Keep Fishing

*Introduction to Fish / 

 Environmental Conservation

*Basic Compass Orientation        

 instructions with

 Sault Search and Rescue

*Youth Archery Event with 

 Sault North Archery Club

*Invasive Species Booth & Activities

Fishing Hours: 10:00AM-1:00PM (tentatively)

Hot dogs, hot chocolate, trophies and prize presentations to follow.

The 2023 derby had 398 children plus their families attend for a fun day on the ice.

AFGC TAKE A VETERAN FISHING DAY 

AFGC invites Canadian Veterans to join us for a FREE fun day of fishing!  Register now as seating is limited.  For Information and to Register Call the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 Office 705-945-8721.

PLEASE ADVISE US OF ANY SPECIFIC NEEDS WHEN YOU REGISTER, SO WE CAN MAKE SURE YOUR DAY OF FISHING IS FANTASTIC.

A FREE fun day of fishing for Canadian veterans.  

All Fishing gear and bait is supplied by Boat Captains and Algoma Fish And Game Club.

Coffee & Muffins, Bag Lunch, 

pictures and Dinner at the Legion.

AFGC FAMILY FISHING DAY

In the past, we've hosted this event as a Walleye Derby, however we are now changing the structure to encourage families to come out and enjoy a day of fishing together.
